Scholarship Fund

We hold a deep belief that healing and empowerment should be available to everyone and that we each carry the seed of a powerful changemaker within us, no matter what our circumstances. As part of our ongoing and ever-evolving commitment to justice, we are committed to ensuring that Joyality is accessible to everyone, especially those who have been oppressed and marginalized by colonialism, racism and patriarchy. Our scholarship fund supports those who could not otherwise participate in our offerings and also acts as a form of reparations, providing free or highly subsidised support and education to those who are historically and currently oppressed.

FUND A SCHOLARSHIP

Your generous donations have supported many incredible changemakers to receive the tools, resources and community they need in order to be supported and sustained in making the world a better place for all of us. An investment in them is an investment in the future - your future and that of future generations. We are incredibly grateful for your continued support in spreading this work in the world.

Here’s what our scholarship recipients have to say:

“Joyality offered a sense of community I really needed. I am so grateful for all it taught me and allowed me feel. I now feel better able to confront the environmental challenges of our time without anxiety or fear debilitating me.”

- Teresa, environmental & education justice advocate

"The Joyality Program brought me closer to myself and helped me remember my connection with nature. It challenged me to pause and face myself and what's really going on in the world, good and bad. I feel more strongly than ever that I as a privileged human on this planet has a responsibility to take action in creating the foundation for a brighter, healthier and more just future."

- Cecilia, editor & voice actor

“The exposure that Joyality has given me to my capacity to connect with nature, myself, and others has been unbelievable. I will carry what I have learned— how to hold space for environmental action, and the language to effectually discuss eco-anxiety— for a long time coming. Much gratitude, Joyality.”

- Kayla, spoken word poet & jazz sax performer

“It is such a relief to find a way and a space to explore the icky unbearable stuff, the gut wrenching passionate stuff AND the inspiring empowering enlivening stuff all in one and find JOYALITY existing within you.”

- Clio, environmental educator, earth-based artist & writer

Every donation we receive, no matter how big or small, will go directly to providing our courses, trainings, resources and personal support to people who need them. Our goal is to promote equity and ensure these important tools are accessible to those who need empowerment, resilience and joy most in these times.

Thank you for your support.
